Chapter 1 · Bespoke website · In client preview

A founder in one minute

The personal site of Giovanni Mulè, founder of Formule, made for the investor who opens the link between two meetings. White, a golden grid, a single red thread.

The problem

Giovanni came from architecture and ended up in artificial intelligence. His old site presented him as a consultant, and whoever opened it had to guess the rest. He needed the opposite: one investor, one minute, no doubt about who they are looking at. He asked for something “absurd”, with one constraint: a white background, no noise.

What we did

Formule describes itself with one continuous red line connecting people, conversations and workflows. That line became the site: it begins as a golden spiral in a first screen divided 1 to 0.618, settles on the margin and runs straight down to the end, holding the sections together. Everything else is white, so the page’s only colour is also its idea.

In one line

A line that never breaks.

  • A founder in one minute — Three quarters down.

The measurements

The first screen arrives in 2.06 s1, the initial JavaScript weighs 50 kB2, and the page shifts by 03 while it loads. In all, 545 kB4 across 13 requests.

  1. Largest Contentful Paint. Measured on 13 October 2026 on the live site, 390×844 phone, simulated slow 4G · 1.6 Mbit/s · 150 ms, CPU slowed down 4×. Our limit is 2.50 s. ↩
  2. JavaScript downloaded on first load, compressed. Our limit is 180 kB. ↩
  3. Cumulative Layout Shift: how much the page moves while it arrives. Our limit is 0.1; zero means nothing jumps. ↩
  4. Weight after load, images and frames included. ↩
